Salaryon provides calculators, planning tools, insights and educational content that apply publicly available UK rules, rates and thresholds to the figures you enter. This is general information to help you understand topics such as take-home pay, tax, National Insurance, pensions, budgeting and personal wealth.
Salaryon does not know your full circumstances and cannot give advice tailored to you. Nothing in the Service is financial, tax, investment, accounting or legal advice, and nothing in it is a personal recommendation to take (or not take) any course of action or to buy, hold or sell any product.
2. What we do not do
Salaryon does not provide regulated financial advice or personal recommendations. It does not arrange, recommend, promote or sell financial products, investments or pensions, and it does not manage money or investments on your behalf. Our insights and tips are general educational information based on publicly available rules, not a recommendation of any product or provider.

3. Estimates you should check
Salaryon calculates using the rules, rates and assumptions available to it, and we take reasonable care to keep them current and to keep improving them. The outputs are estimates: they depend on the information you provide and the assumptions used, and may differ from your actual position due to incomplete inputs, employer payroll practice, scheme-specific rules, recent or pending legislative change, or rounding. They may not reflect every rule or allowance that applies to you, or details held by HMRC, your employer or your provider.
Your actual pay, tax, National Insurance, pension, benefits and other amounts may therefore differ from what Salaryon shows. Please treat the figures as a guide to help you understand and plan, not as a definitive statement of what you will pay or receive, and check important figures against official sources.

- check important figures against official sources, such as HMRC and gov.uk, and against your own payslip, statements and provider information; and
- seek advice from a suitably qualified professional (for example an accountant, tax adviser, or an FCA-authorised financial adviser) about your specific situation.
